The management of the coastal areas and small islands must be carried out and managed and provide great benefits for all stakeholders of the coastal community. Law Number 27 of 2007 concerning Management of Coastal Areas and Small Islands has been approved by Law Number 1 of 2014, in which Article 1 paragraph 2 of the Law stipulates territories as transitions between countries displaced by changes on land and the sea. In the discussion of this thesis, the author discusses the policies arising from the management of the Coastal and Small Islands, and the Legal Protection of the Management of Coastal Areas and Small Islands. From the results of research conducted on the facts arising from the policy of management of territories and small islands the entry into force of Governor Regulation Number 64 Year 2019 of Central Java Province and legal protection for the management of Coastal and small islands areas in accordance with Article 73 of Law 27 of 2007 Jo Law N0 1/2014 mentions the protection of coral reef destruction, Law No. 1 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law No. 27 of 2007 concerning Management of Coastal Areas and Small Islands that have an impact on protection against climate change. The research method used in this study is normative juridical conducted through a literature study that examines based on secondary data consisting of legislation, court decisions, agreements, contracts, or other legal documents, as well as research, study results, and other references. The data used is secondary data is data obtained from the results of literature by conducting library studies, namely conducting studies of documents, archives and literature with related matters, concepts, views and legal principles related with the subject.
