Operational of the secondary drainage gates of the Kedung Limus Irrigation Area is carried out based on 2 (two) seasons, namely the rainy season and the dry season. In its development, the availability of water in the irrigation area is not enough to meet the water needs needed in rice fields. The purpose of this study was to analyze the operational effectiveness of the secondary drainage gates of the Kedung Limus Irrigation Area. This research was conducted through data collection obtained from the Public Works Department and the Serayu Citanduy Water Resources Management Center, Purwokerto. The effectiveness calculation is done by comparing the plan discharge and the existing discharge will produce the effectiveness value of the irrigation channel. From the research results show that, the availability of water can still meet the needs of irrigation water. the effectiveness of the Kedung Limus irrigation can be said to have reached the criteria for the effectiveness of an excellent irrigation network performance index. The use of Balekambang secondary channel irrigation water is sufficient for irrigation water needs with an average effectiveness value of 80.99%
