This study aims to examine the effect of capital expenditure, balance
funds, economic growth, and disparity in income between regions on public
welfare. The independent variable in this study were capital expenditure, balance
funds, economic growth, and disparity in income between regions, while the
dependent variable was public welfare. The population in this study were 35
regencies / cities in Central Java Province. This sampling method was a census, so
obtained of 105 data. This study uses multiple regression analysis with the
classical assumption requirements. The results of this study show that capital
expenditure variable has a positive and significant effect on the welfare of the
community, while balance funds, economic growth have not effect on community
welfare and income disparity has a negative and significant effect on community
welfare.
