This research aims to obtain empirical evidence regarding the influence of company growth, institutional ownership and financial distress on auditor switching with firm size as a control variables. The population used in this study was taken from a mining company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2016-2018. Sampling technique in this study used porposive sampling where the sample will be obtained with consideration or certain criteria that have been adapted to the objectives and research problems. There were three independent variables and one control variable used in this research. The variable were the company's growth, institutional ownership, financial distress and control variable used in this study is firm size. The analysis technique in this study using logistic regression analysis. The result that company growth, institutional ownership and financial distress had no effect on auditor switching.
