Abstract
This research aims to determine the concentration of folic acid and humic acid which can affect the best on the growth culture on potato node (Solanum tuberosum L.) buds on murashige skoog media. This research began in May 2019 - July 2019, located in the Basic Agrotechnology and Genetic Engineering Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. The design used is a non factorial Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with two treatment factors namely humic acid concentration and fulvic acid concentration. There are 10 levels of humic acid concentration namely (H1) 250 mg. L-1 (H2) 500 mg. L-1 (H3) 750 mg. L-1 (H4) 1000 mg. L-1 (H5) 1250 mg.L -1 (H6) 1500 mg.L-1 (H7) 1750 mg.L-1 (H8) 2000 mg.L-1 (H9) 2250 mg.L-1 and (H10) 2500 mg.L-1. Fulvic acid concentration has 11 levels namely (F1) 50 mg.L-1 (F2) 100 mg.L-1 (F3) 200 mg.L-1 (F4) 300 mg.L-1 (F5) 400 mg.L -1 (F6) 500 mg.L-1 (F7) 600 mg.L-1 (F8) 700 mg.L-1 (F9) 800 mg.L-1 (F10) 900 mg.L-1 and (F11) ) 1000 mg.L-1, then added (K0) Control, so that there are a total of 22 levels. The variables observed were explant length, stem length, number of leaves, leaf appearance, explant wet and dry weight, root wet and dry weight and chlorophyll content. The results showed that the administration of humic acid can increase the absorption of N nutrients and the auxin hormone while the administration of fulvic acid will effectively increase growth at low concentrations. The best effect of humic acid concentration is 2000 mg.L-1 while fulvic acid treatment is 50 mg.L-1.
