The purpose of the research was to examine the added value of processed pineapple products of the Tiga Sekawan Home industry in Beluk Village, Belik Sub-district, Pemalang Regency by analyzing the production costs incurred by the processors and the processors' income from the business. The objective of this research was to determine the amount of added value from the pineapple into its processed products. Using the census method, a total of 16 pineapple product processors were chosen as research respondents. The income formula = TR-TC was used to calculate the added value using Hayami's (1987) descriptive technique and the income formula = TR-TC.
The findings of this study revealed that, as a socioeconomic characteristic, the majority of pineapple product processors had completed primary school. In addition, in the pineapple processing company, manufacturing facilities in the form of pineapple as raw materials, supporting supplies, and human labor were provided to support operational activities. The capital used to run the business was from own capital and loan capital. Based on the results of the analysis, the added value of pineapple processed into pineapple confection, candied pineapple, and pineapple ball was Rp. 3,329.6, Rp. 42,937.5, and Rp. 3,567.8, respectively. While the income obtained from the products of pineapple confection, candied pineapple, and pineapple ball were Rp. 1,588,033.00,Rp. 26,964,010.00and Rp. 1,1234,151.00
