Abstract
Campus building III of Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto built in the year
2011 has a building length of 42.20 m and the building width of 15.20 m with the
landscape of the Truss 15.20 m and high of truss 4.48 m using lightweight steel
roofing material. So it needs to be re-checked on the roof frame structure using SNI
7971-2013 about the planning standards of cold rolled steel structure and SNI 8399-
2017 about the standard lightweight steel profile and the manufacture of alternative
design to anticipate if the roof structure in use is not standard or experiencing
failure. The stages in this study are checking on the built-in design structure and
alternative design structures using the SAP2000 VER20 application. The Material
used on the mounted design is a mild steel C 75.100 profile as the main trunk and
mild steel hat 33x50 profile as a batten. And Desain alternatives using mild steel
profile U75 and mild steel profile Z90 as the main trunk. According to the working
load and the applicable loading standard of the built-in roof frame design analysis
results have 14 frames that have failed. And 19 red frames on the alternative design
of mild steel profile U75. As for the design of alternative light steel Z profile There
are no frames that are red colored or can be declared safe structures.
