Financial Feasibility Analysis of Mangosteen Farming in Matenggeng Village,
Dayeuhluhur Subdistrict, Cilacap Regency. This study was aimed to determine the
profile of mangosteen farmers, the number of investment costs, operational costs,
benefits, and also the financial feasibility of mangosteen farming in Matenggeng
Village, Dayeuhluhur District, Cilacap Regency. The method used in this research
is analytical descriptive. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling by
involving 51 respondents of mangosteen farmers. Data were collected by
conducting interviews, observation, and documentation. The feasibility analysis
used in this study is NPV, Net B/C, Gross B/C, IRR, and Payback Period.
The results of this study conclude that: (1) The total cost of mangosteen
farming for 10 years per 0.868 hectares is IDR 55,329,682 per 1 hectare. (2)
Revenue earned for 10 years is IDR 137,964,786 per 1 Ha. The profit earned for
10 years is IDR 79,485,908 per 1 hectare. (3) Feasibility analysis for an average
of 0.868 hectares with a discount rate of 6% resulted in an NPV value of IDR
29,804,137, Net B/C of 1.97, Gross B/C of 1.73, IRR 15.1, and Payback Period of
farmers to return the capital within 8 years, 2 months.
