This research aimed to find out the leadership roles of the school principal in SD Negeri Sokaraja Lor. This research used qualitative approach and involved the school principal and teachers as the subjects. The data were collected in Januari 2021 using interview and documentation, then analyzed using Miles and Huberman model. Meanwhile, the data validity was tested using data triangulation and methodological triangulation. The results showed that the school principal of SD Negeri Sokaraja Lor had performed a good leadership role based on the five aspects asked by the researcher. The five aspects included personality, knowledge, understanding the vision and mission, decision-making skill, and communication skill. Thus, it can be concluded that the leadership roles that have been done by the school principal give some good impacts to the learning quality and teachers professionalism so the schools vision, mission, and goals can be achieved maximally.
