Abstract

The background why this research was conducted is to determine the ability of the KSLL foundation in earthquake-resistant house designs based on a scientific approach through the Terzaghi, Mayerhof and SNI Earthquake 2012 theory. In this study, a foundation analysis calculation was made, namely the use of Cobweb Construction foundations to Two-story earthquake-resistant house type 350 in Dukuhwaluh Village, Kembaran District, Banyumas Regency, to be precise at the Kwartir Branch Office of the Kembaran Scout Movement, the calculation aspects include the bearing capacity of the foundation, soil subsidence and earthquake resistance analysis. This research was conducted by calculating the carrying capacity of the cobweb construction foundation for earthquake-resistant houses, calculating the settlement value on the cobweb construction foundation for earthquake-resistant houses, knowing the safety control of spiderweb construction foundations against earthquake effects based on analysis of earthquake forces based on a map of the earthquake area of Indonesia. The data were analyzed using MS-Excel 2016 and SAP 2000 v 22 application software with the Terzaghi and Mayerhof formula based on Ryantori and Sutjipto (1976) classified as a type of longitudinal foundation. To determine the value of dimensions and ultimate bearing capacity, safety factor and safe bearing capacity of SSLL foundation for earthquake resistant houses. After that, calculate the horizontal earthquake force using the MS-Excel 2016 application software, then the value of the earthquake force is compared with the value of the safe bearing force of the foundation. This research method uses secondary data as data to analyze the KSLL foundation. The results of the analysis of the ultimate bearing capacity of 102.19 kN/m2 (Terzaghi Method) and 104.88 kN/m2 (Mayerhof Method), and the magnitude of the earthquake resistance of 5703.95 kN is greater than the earthquake force that occurred 829.14 kN, so the foundation is declared earthquake safe.
