Abstract

Planning the structure of earthquake resistant buildings is very important in Indonesia, considering that most of the area is located in the earthquake areas with moderate to high intensity. In connection with this, in an effort to mitigate the damage caused by the earthquake load, it has been issued procedures of earthquake resistance planning for building is SNI 03-1726-2012. Construction of the Campus 3 Buildings University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto is still referring to the building planning standards of SNI 03-2847-2002 (concrete structure calculation procedures for buildings), and PUUDI-1982 (General requirements of building expenses in Indonesia). Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the calculation of structures of Campus 3 Buildings of Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto using the latest regulatory standards with the intention to review whether it is safe or unsafe structure. Evaluation of the structure of Campus 3 Buildings University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto is done using the help of software SAP2000 ver. 20, referring to the regulation of Indonesian regulations for Buildings (PPIUG 1987), minimum burden for designing buildings and other structures (SNI 1727:2013), procedures for planning concrete structures for buildings (SNI 2847:2013), procedures for building earthquake resistance for buildings (SNI 03-1726-2012). From the results of the analysis using the software SAP2000 ver. 20 obtained 82 frames that exceed the safe factor required by software SAP2000 ver. 20 consisting of 39 frames and 43 frames of beams that need to be done redesign on structures that exceed the safe factor. After the result redesign is controlled by manual calculation way until the redesign result is safe.
