The progress of development in an area of course always brings positive
and negative impacts, either directly or indirectly. Culinary Banjarnegara is one of
the economic centers in the city of Banjarnegara with a busy activity where at
certain hours many vehicles come and go through Jalan Pemuda Banjarnegara.
The purpose of this study is to determine the performance of the road sections and
the level of road service on Pemuda roads after and before the side barriers and
determine solutions to improve road performance and service levels.
The survey conducted was a traffic volume survey, then a side friction
survey and a speed survey, both with disturbed and undisturbed speed. The
research was conducted on Jalan Pemuda No. 78 Banjarnegara. Subsequent
calculations were used with the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual for Inner City Roads.
Based on the results of the survey and analysis, it was found that the
performance of Jalan Pemuda Banjarnegara when there were no side obstacles
where the drivers could choose the desired speed, and when the performance of the
youth roads had experienced side obstacles, the drivers had limitations to choose
the desired speed For the level of service when there is a side barrier, it can be
seen that the Side Barriers affect the performance of Jalan Pemuda Banjarnegara.
Where before there was a side barrier the value of the service level was A I B then
became Dafter the side barrier on Jalan Pemuda Banjarnegara with aDS value of
0.80.
