Abstract

The purposes of this study were to examine the level of income of nursery plants farming in a month and to determine the contribution of ornamental plant farming income to household income of farmers in Rempoah Village, Baturraden Sub District, Banyumas Regency. The research method used in this study was descriptive quantitative analysis. This study was conducted in Rempoah Village, Baturraden Sub District, Banyumas Regency. Respondents were selected using a saturated sampling technique (Sampling Sensus), the samples obtained were 42 nursery plant farmers. This research was conducted from February to August 2020. The results of the study showed that the average fixed cost in a month was Rp. 19,199 and the variable cost was Rp. 893,596, the total cost incurred by nursery plant farmers to run their business was an average of Rp. 912,795. The total income consisted of income from nursery plant farming and business outside of nursery plant farming. The income from the nursery plant farming was in an average of Rp. 3,733,397 and the amount of income outside of nursery plant farming was an average of Rp. 778,417. The contribution of nursery plant farming to the total income of nursery plant farmer families was 82.75% percent. In conclusion, nursery plant farming is a source of income that provides much contribution.
