This research aimed to 1) find out the profile of Jatisari farmers; 2) find out the aspects that formed farmers' perception toward agroforestry; 3) find out the farmers' perception toward agroforestry in Ketanda Village Sumpiuh Sub-district Banyumas Regency.
This research was conducted using the survey method and the place was determined using purposive. The data were taken in June 2020. The respondents were taken using a purposive sampling technique with the consideration of farmers joining agroforestry and farmers who actively play a role in developing agroforestry in the village. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis with the help of Likert's Summated Ratingsmeasuring tool and continued with successive Intervalmethod.
The results of this research showed that: 1) the activities done by Jatisari farmers in developing agroforestry included managing the villages dry land with sengon tree (Albizia Chinensis)and utilizing the land under the stands of corn plants and peanuts; 2)the analysis result of perception forming aspects included the economic aspect that had a good category with the percentage of100%, social culture aspect had a good category with the percentage of 97,1%, and social-technical and environmental aspect which had a good category with the percentage of100%;3)the perceptions of Jatisari farmers toward agroforestry as a whole based on the calculation of MSI (Method of Successive Interval)was categorized fair with the score of2.166.
