Abstract

This study explored students’ perceptions of online books used in the Extensive Reading class. The participants of the study were 46 sixth semester students of English Education at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. This study used descriptive design which was used questionnaire that consist of the indicators of the online books as the instrument. The indicators are type of online books, the advantages of online books and the disadvantages of online books. The result of the total score of agree and strongly agree (1.656) and from the percentage of agree and strongly agree, it belongs to positive perceptions. It can be concluded that the sixth semester students of English Education at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto have positive perceptions of online books used in the Extensive Reading class.
