Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work ethic, work discipline, workload on work performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. The research population is members of the Banjarnegara Police bhabinkamtibmas. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method. The questionnaire was used as a data collection instrument. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test and path analysis. The results showed that work ethic, workload and work discipline had a positive effect on job satisfaction. Work ethic and workload directly affect work performance, while work discipline does not directly affect work performance. Work ethic mediated by job satisfaction has no effect on job performance. Likewise, work discipline and workload mediated by job satisfaction have no effect on work performance.
