This study aims to determine the effect of learning pancasila and civic education on the nationalism of eight-grade student of SMP Negeri 2 padamara in even semester of academic year 2019/2020 . This study uses the associative correlation method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Padamara as many as 170 students consisting of 6 study groups. While the number of samples in this study was 32 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study is the cluster sampling technique or area sampling. The data collection techniques in this are questionnaire/questionnaire, and documentation. The data analysis technique used 2 techniques, namely the percentage descriptive data analysis technique and the statistical analysis using the product-moment correlation. The results of this study indicate the influence of learning pancasila and civic education on the nationalism of eight-grade student of SMP Negeri 2 Padamara. The results of data analysis showed that there was an effect of 25,6%. The data was obtained based on the learning pancasila and civic education objectives, material content, methods, media, and evaluation of learning pancasila and civic education which contained the competence of nationalism attitudes that students must have.
