The reason behind this research is parent obligation to raise saleh children. The objective of this research is understanding Ibnu Ka ̇īr and Ahmad Mustafa al-Marāgī tafsr about saleh children concept in family education and the essence of Ibnu Katsīr dan Ahmad Musṭafa al-Marāgī tafsr of aṣ-Ṣāffāt ayat 100-102
This research is library based research. Primary resource of this research is Taf ̇īr Ibnu Ka ̇īr and Taf ̇īr al- Marāgī and secondary resources gained from journal, book, paper, and other resources which have significant relation with this research. Content analysis used in theis research means that analysing content of Al Qur‟an by reading and describing ayat of Al Qur‟an in order to have undertanding and conclusion.
The result of this research show that parents have significant roles in raising saleh children. Ibnu Katsīr and Ahmad Mustafa al-Marāgī tafsr of aṣ-Ṣāffāt ayat 100-102 about saleh children raising concept were: parents have to pray to Allah for saleh children, parents have to have good personalities, parents have to care and watch chidren development, parent must be an example in good behavior and speech, parent must touch children heart and must involve children in picking and making decision, parents need to build harmonious relationship in the family, and in training critical thinking. All of these can be started since early years by teaching aqidah to children dan and tell them obeying Allah and parent rules
