Abstract

Retaining wall used to resist lateral earth pressure generated by the landfill soil or native land unstable. This retaining wall is often used in irrigation projects, highway, ports, and others. The purpose of the study is to calculate the stability of the retaining wall against the bearing strength of the soil, displacement, overtuning, and internal forces acting on the retaining wall. This research was conducted using data obtained from PPK 2.1 Central Java Province. The data obtained are retaining wall planning data and sondir data. In completing the data, there must be a correlation so that it gets the necessary data. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that the active earth pressure was 7022,68 tons and the moment was 1244,167 ton m, then the passive earth pressure was 557,22 tons and the moment was 139,031 ton m, and the building's own weight was 46,506 ton and the total moment of the building weight was 106,692 tonvm, stability to shear was -0,017 (unsafe), stability to overtuning was 0,2 (unsafe), stability to the bearing strength of the soil was -397,68 ton/m2 < 472,24 ton/m2. After the analysis of the study, the · retaining wall was safe against the bearing strength of the soil but it not safe against shifting and overtuning.
