Abstract
The research entitled Improving Children's Social-Emotional Ability through Storytelling Method Using Hand Puppets in TK Minna -L- Masryiq Bentar. The purpose of this study was to improve children's social-emotional abilities through storytelling methods using hand puppets. The subjects in this study were second-year students of class 2 students, totaling six students. This was classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisted of three meetings. Problem-solving steps consist of 1) Planning 2) Implementation 3) Observation, and 4) Reflection. The data sources of this study were students of the second year students of class 2 TK Minna -LMasryiq Bentar, Salem, Brebes, Central Java. The data collection used observation sheets, documentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research showed that in the first cycle, one child has not developed (17%), three children started to develop (50%), two children developed as expected (33%), none of them was very well developed (0%). In the second cycle, there were no undeveloped children (0%), 1 child started to develop (17%), three children developed as expected (50%), and two children were very well developed (33%).
