Abstract

The effectiveness of Islamic education is strongly influenced by global changes that occur continuously so that it demands the need for improvement of the learning system. This study aims to measure the level of teacher effectiveness in moral development learning, measure teacher competence in developing morals, measure the rate of increase in the average value of the First and Second Daily Tests, determine the effectiveness of moral development in learning and find a correlation between the effectiveness of learning-teacher competency-moral development and increase average value.. The research design used is a survey type to find out the general description of the character of the population. The research sites were in 10 Supervised Middle Schools of Cluster 9 Banyumas Regency with research subjects consisting of 14 teachers. Sources of data obtained from the results of learning observations, recapitulation of questionnaires and value documents. Collecting data using observation techniques, questionnaires and document studies. The research instrument was taken from the Central Java Education Quality Assurance Institute (LPMP). The data analysis technique uses descriptive quantitative data by processing numerical data from survey results and value data. The results of the data processing are then presented systematically based on statistical, mathematical and/or computational figures. The results showed that the effectiveness of learning in organizing material was 69.05%, communication 73.47%, material 75%, action 84.69%, assessment 94.29%, approach 75% and results 96.43% with an overall average of 82.14% effective qualifications. As for the effectiveness of teachers in moral development on exemplary 7.00, counseling 6.50, habituation 5.93, practice 7.00, punishment 4.64, lecture 6.43, observation 6.07, gift giving 3.07, and discussion interpreter 4.64 with a maximum average of 5.70 categories. In the measurement of competence there are pedagogical results of 3.78, personality 4, social 4 and professionalism 3.46 with an average of 3.75 very competent qualifications. The average daily test scores for class VII increased by 1.07, class VIII was 2.14 and class IX was 1.62 with an average of 1.62 in both categories. Competent teachers carry out effective learning resulting in increased values and moral development.
