Abstract

Good agricultural development will increase agricultural production which will contribute to a positive impact on farmers and the surroundings, especially workers' welfare. The farmers' welfare can be viewed from the farmers' and families' ability to meet the basic life needs such as clothing, food, shelter, health, and education. The study aimed to determine the welfare of farmworkers in Sikampuh Village, Kroya subdistrict, Cilacap Regency. The method implemented a survey. The populations were all farmworkers in Sikampuh Village, Kroya Subdistrict, Cilacap Regency which consisted of 879 people. The sampling technique was a total sampling from 90 farmworkers. The analysis utilized was descriptive-analytic. The results of the study discovered that the welfare of farmworkers was mostly in the prosperous family category I with a total of 69 farm workers (76.7%) and followed by unprosperous with 21 farmworkers (23.3%).
