Abstract
This study aims to describe the technique persuasive and the diction
persuasive of personal branding to develop brand image in social media instagram
(account @anneavanieheart for her culinary business), and the implication of
research with learning Indonesian in SMP Class VIII. This type of research is
descriptive qualitative. The approach used is a pragmatic approach. The data in
this study is a text that contains elements of technique persuasive and diction
persuasive of personal branding to develop brand image in social media instagram
specifically account @anneavantieheart for her culinary business. The source of
data in this study is the account of @anneavantieheart in social media instagram.
The data collection technique of this research used reading and note-taking
techniques. The data analysis technique includes data reduction, data presentation,
and conclusions. The results of this study are ( 1) 13 data from technique
persuasive rational, (2) 11 data from technique persuasive identification, (3) 12
data from technique persuasive suggestion, (4) 11 data from technique persuasive
confonnity, (5) 8 data from technique persuasive compensation, (6) 3 data from
technique persuasive substitution, (7) 3 data from technique persuasive projection.
Diction persuasive (1) 4 data fonn diction persuasive denotation, (2) 6 data form
diction persuasive connotation, (3) 4 data form diction persuasive abstrack, (4) 3
data fonn diction persuasive popular, (5) 3 data fonn diction persuasive jargon,
(6) 4 data form diction persuasive slang, (7) 3 data form diction persuasive foreign
word.
Based on the relevance of research to learning, this research can be used as
student teaching materials.
