Abstract

This study aims to analyze and explain the effect of wages, work motivation, work environment and skills on the performance of the craftsmen of Sentra Tenun Songket Unggan, Sumpur Kudus District, Sijunjung Regency, West Sumatra. This research is a quantitative research using a questionnaire of 100 respondents to the craftsmen of Sentra Tenun Songket Unggan. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling (census). Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis, validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, coefficient of determination test, t test and f test. The results of the study indicate that wages, work motivation, work environment and skills have a simultaneous, positive and significant effect on the performance of craftsmen. Work wages have a partial, positive and significant effect on the performance of craftsmen, work motivation has a partial, positive and significant effect on the performance of craftsmen, the work environment has a partial, positive and significant effect on the performance of craftsmen, and skills have a partial, positive and significant effect on craftsman performance.
