Abstract

Building K is one of the lecture buildings on campus 1 of the
Muhammadiyah Purwokerto Univerity. Beam and column structures used are
reinforced concrete structures. The building is still under construction, which
began in 2019. With this, a redesign of WF profile steel was carried out. The
purpose of this research is to find out how many dimensions and needs of WF
steel profile beams and columns are needed in holding loads working on 10
floors. This redesign analysis method uses the SAP2000 v22 application by
entering the work load and then provides moment and axial values for
calculations in determining the dimensions of the WF steel with reference to the
Steel Structure Planning with the LRFD Method. From the results of the study
showed that, WF Beam requirements obtained were 217110,7144 kg and WF
Columns were 169078,4 kg with a total of Beams and WF Columns of
386189,1144 kg.
