Abstract

This study applied two methods, namely the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method which was used to determine the priority weight value of the criteria and the TOPSIS method which was used to determine the ranking of which learning methods were the best priority. Since teachers still have difficulties in finding material that was not in accordance with the practical application. This research was conducted based on seven criteria, namely learning objectives, learning materials, learning time, teacher ability, student ability, facilities, and the number of students. Based on the AHP calculation process, the results of the priority criteria and the learning objectives were 0.485%, the learning material criteria were 0.130%, the learning time criteria were 0.031%, the teacher ability criteria were 0.132%, the student ability criteria were 0.031%, the facility criteria were 0.132%, and the criteria for the number of students was 0.056%. In addition, based on the results of the TOPSIS process, the preference value for each alternative was the Simulation method with a value of 70.0728%, the alternative Discussion method was with a value of 27.4337%, the alternative Problem-solving Method was with a value of 25.9193%, the alternative Method of Inquiry was with a value of 25.9193%, alternative Demonstration method was with a value of 15.4404%, alternative for the Experimental method was with a value of 8.8896%, the alternative method for Assignment and Recitation was with a value of 7.8006%, and Lecture Method was with a value of 0%.
