Abstract

Rice bran oil is the result of oil extraction from rice bran that have chemical formula CH3OH. To proccessing this rice bran oil have to go through several proccessing they are stabilization, extraction, and distillation. Extraction solvent proccessing conducted using ethanol. Rice bran oil can be used as a consuming oil and materials for making cosmetics.
The aims of this research is to determine the influences of (size, solvent ratio, and extraction time) to the aims and optimize the most influencing factors and analyze the content FFA % and density from the results of rice bran oil that be produced. From this research, the size of bran is very take effect to the aims of oil which has an effect value -35,15 and the time which has an effect value 20,21 and the last is solvent which has an effect value 17,85. The next is variable optimation (bran size) which effect for the size 0,085mm that produced the aims around 68,1%. The best free fatty acid levels (% FFA) is founded in bran size 0,014 mm. The best density is corresponding with standard A.O.C.S that located on the size of baran 0,215mm.
