The study aimed to describe the attitudes of friendship in the novel Mimpi Anak Papua by Jackie Ambadar and Hendra G. Lukito. It was a descriptive qualitative study. The objects of this study were friendship attitudes in the novel of Mimpi Anak Papua by Jackie Ambadar and Hendra G. Lukito. The data were texts that showed friendship attitudes. The data source was the novel of Mimpi Anak Papua by Jackie Ambadar and Hendra G. Lukito. The research approach was psychology of literature. The data were collected by using reading techniques and note-taking techniques. The data were analyzed by using data reduction, data presentation, data verification, and conclusions. The results showed that in the novel of Mimpi Anak Papua by Jackie Ambadar and Hendra G. Lukito, there were friendship attitudes. The friendship attitudes contained in this novel were (1) trust, (2) empathy, (3) honesty, (4) confidentiality, and (5) togetherness.
