Abstract

The Upper of Serayu Watershed is a river area unit in Banjarnegara and Wonosobo
Regencies. The area of Upper Serayu Watershed is 97,783.87 Ha or 977.84 Km2,
having various forms of land use in terms of species, area and distribution. The
purpose of this study was to analyze the condition of changes in the peak discharge
of Upper Serayu River due to changes in land use of the Upper Serayu Watershed
and predictions of changes in peak discharge of Upper Serayu River and land use
in the Upper Serayu Watershed for the next 10 years (2019–2028) regression. The
results of the analysis showed that the condition of vegetation land use in the Serayu
Hulu watershed in 2009 to 2015 tended to not change. Then in 2016 the vegetation
land use in the Upper Serayu Watershed decreased by 62,149.45 Ha, and remained
relatively until 2018. As for the predictions of the next 10 years (2019 - 2028), in
2019 the peak discharge was 166,000 M3/Sec with a vegetation area of 62,159.21
Ha. The results showed that with a decrease in the area of land use of vegetation in
the Upper Serayu watershed, the peak discharge of the Upper Serayu Watershed
tended to change until 2028 by 174,555 M3/Sec with a vegetation area of 50,153.10
Ha.
