Abstract

This study aimed to find whether the eleventh grade Senior High School English textbook is good or notbased from content appropriateness, presentation appropriateness, linguistic appropriateness, and graphics appropriateness determined by BSNP (Badan Nasional Standar Pendidikan). Descriptive quantitative research method was used in this research. Document of eleventh grade senior high school English textbook was used to analyze in this research. The result showed that the eleventh grade Senior High School English textbook has fulfilled the criteria of content appropriateness, presentation appropriateness, linguistic appropriateness, and graphics appropriateness determined by BSNP by achieving average score of 90% with coverage 86% for the Content Eligibility aspect, 93% for linguistic aspect, 90% for presentation coverage aspect and 94% for graphic aspect.
