Purwokerto and Purbalingga are cities with rapid economic growth and high mobility needs which are supported by a lot of infrastructure development. The BRT was presented by the Central Java province as the effort to meet the high mobility needs of the community.
This study is aimed at determining and analyzing the operational performance of Central Java Trans buses with the route of Purwokerto - Purbalingga. The study is done by comparing the standards that have been set recommended by the World Bank for urban transportation and Ministerial Regulations Transportation Number PM No. 10 of 2012.
The result of the study showed that the average headway was 14.4 minutes with a waiting time of 12.6 minutes, average speed was 29.4 Km / hr, route length was 268 KM, Central Java trans buses stopped at an average stop of 46.55 seconds, load factor was 65%, and its operating ratio was 0.52: 1.
Based on the analysis, the bus travel distance, headway, and bus speed met the standards recommended by the World Bank. However, its headway and bus speed did not meet the standards set by PM no 10 of 2012. Waiting time bus stops met the standards set PM 10 of 2012 but still not meet World Bank recommended standards. Stop time at stop and load factor met the standards set by PM No. 10 of 2012. Operating ratio was still not in accordance with the standards recommended by the World Bank.
