Abstract

Land erosion is one of the important things in watershed development.
Several determinants in the analysis of land erosion are the characteristics of
watershed’s soil, the length of the slope of the watershed, declivity of the slope, and
rainfall. This study is intended to determine the erosion of the Serayu River Basin
watershed Upperusing the USLE Model. The study begins with calculating monthly
rainfall for 10 years in 2008-2018, compiling a map of soil types, land slope maps,
and land use. The results of the analysis based on the calculation of the value of land
erosion using the USLE method by calculating rain erosivity factors, soil erodibility
factors (K), factors of slope length and declivity of the slope (LS), vegetation
factors/land use (C), and conservation factors (P) the large of erosion which occurred
in the Upper Serayu River watershed of 2.456,674 tons / ha / year.
