Abstract

Problems that are often encountered in urban transportation systems are the emergence of traffic jams on roads and conflicts at intersections, especially in unsignalized (without traffic lights) intersections. One of unsignalized T-junction is on Jl. Suparno Utara – Jl. Perum Arcawinangun. This intersection analysis menthod generally refers to the 1997 Indonesia Road Capacity Manual. The data required in this performance analysis process are primary data, namely data directly on the field including geometry data and vehicle flow while the secondary data were taken from several agencies. Then it was processed using a reference to the Indonesia Road Capacity Manual (MKJI 1997). From the result of the intersection performance, it is found that the degree of saturation (DS) was 1,06 (saturated). After being done in the scenario I, II in 2018, the technical changes in the intersection of the initial conditions of non-signalized intersections become a three-phasee intersection. With scenario II, it was found that the degree of saturation (DS) is 0,70 (unsaturated). In 2023 scenario III was made, it was found that the degree of saturation (DS) is 0,69 (unsaturated).
