This research aims to examine the effect of source own revenue, general allocatoin funds, specific allocation funds and revenue sharing towards regional financial independence. The dependent variable in this study was regional financial independence, while the independent variables source own revenue (PAD), general allocation funds (DAU), specific allocation funds (DAK), and revenue sharing (DBH). The population in this study of Central Java Province and the sample in this study were 35 Regencies/Cities in Central Java Province, all populations were taken as samples. Samples in this study used financial statement during 2014-2017 period. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study show that source own revenue and revenue sharing have a positive effect on regional financial independence, the regional allocation funds has a negative effect on regional financial independence, and the specific allocation funds has a negative and not significant effect on regional financial independence.
