Abstract
Concrete is one of the important supporters of buildings (construction) which consists of a mixture of aggregate, cement, and water. With the rapid development of concrete technology in recent years, concrete is a very competitive construction material especially for multi-storey building structures, roads and bridges, docks and weir and irrigation structures. In the case of the process of making a mixture or concrete mixture, it is necessary to pay attention to concrete quality control. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of compaction by (SNI), compaction by beating and without compaction on the compressive strength of concrete using concrete quality K - 250. This study was an experimental study using cylindrical specimens with a diameter of 15 cm and 30 cm high for normal concrete with a total sample of 9 samples. Testing of concrete compressive strength was carried out at 28 days. The results showed a comparison of the different concrete compressive strengths of each experiment. Compaction of concrete by pressed process (SNI) has an average compressive strength of 21.81 MPa, compressed concrete struck has an average compressive strength of 19.55 MPa, while concrete without solidification has an average compressive strength of 16.92 MPa.
