This research aimed to describe the nationalism values contained in Kidung Rindu di Tapal Batas novel by Aguk Irawan MN and implement those values toward literature learning in high school. The approach of this research was sociology of literature which connected literature work with society. The data were quote texts from Kidung Rindu di Tapal Batas novel by Aguk Irawan MN which gave information needed by the researcher. The data were collected using reading and note-taking techniques and analyzed by data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results showed (1) nationalism values such as: (a) nationalism which was showen by loving the Red-white flag, defending the borders, and solving all problems in Jagoi Babang, (b) patriotism of the figures who had the characteristics of willing to sacrifice to make Jagoi Babang's life better, (c) glorifying all patriots/heroes as a tribute of their services in the past, and (e) remembering past glory of having rich and prosperous land and mines before the borders existed, (2) implementation suggestion of nationalism values as teaching material in High School gave the students the feeling of nationalism using: (a) steps of concept forming, (b) steps of interpretation, and (c) steps of implementation.
