This descriptive qualitative research aimed to find out the description of quantitative literacy ability viewed from the confidence attitude. The subjects of this research were 9 eighth graders of Class B in SMP Negeri 1 Kembaran who had high, medium, and low confidence. The data were collected using the test of quantitative literacy and interview with triangulation technique as the data validation. The results of quantitative literacy showed that the students with high confidence had mastered the aspect of restating information ability into geometry, writing about mathematics, and counting arithmetic. The results of quantitative literacy showed that the subjects who had medium confidence had mastered the aspect of restating information into geometry and counting arithmetic. Meanwhile, the subjects with low confidence had only mastered the aspect of restating information from questions into geometry.
