Abstract

Parking is one of the means by which the elements cannot be separated from its highway transportation system as a whole. From initial observations, when visiting hours happen surge needs parking lots, a surge that occurred sometimes resulted in no tertampungnya vehicle that will use the parking area. The purpose of this research was to analyze the needs of parking spaces in the Provincial Hospital Dr. R. Goeteng Taroenadibrata Purbalingga experiencing peak hours and full hours 09.00-10.00 especially for motorcycles on weekdays. This research aims to analyze the needs of parking spaces in the Provincial Hospital Dr. R. Goeteng Taroenadibrata Purbalingga. The data used are the data of the vehicle got out and entered the parking location, time vehicles parking and wide areal parking. The method used was the direct field survey as well as the technical guidelines refers to the Organization of the 1996 Department of transportation parking facilities. Accumulated the highest parking motorcycles is 562 and 124 vehicles for cars. The index of the highest parking on motorcycles and cars, namely 1.39 1.68. The highest turnover rate of motorcycles was 1.82 and 2.19. From the analysis results can be summed up the needs of motorcycle parking spaces at the Provincial Hospital Dr. R. Goeteng Taroenadibrata Purbalingga was 562 SRP whereas the number of plots available 402 SRP. The number of car parking mtuk swath needs currently 124 SRP whereas the number of plots available 74 SRP.
