Abstract
This research aimed to discover the growth response and result on two varieties of red onion plant towards the aplication of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) of banana stem. This research used factorial complete design (FCD) with two treatment factors and 3 replications. The first treatment is a variety consisting of 2 milky levels (B0) and sumenep (B1). The second treatment is the application of the composition of organic fertilizer (POC) of banana stems consisting of 5 levels, which are without POC (K0), POC concentration of 350 ml / l air (K1), POC concentration of 500 ml / l air (K2), POC concentration of 600 ml / l air (K3) and POC concentration of 800 ml / l air (K4). Observation variables included number of leaves (strands), leaf length (cm), clean assimilation rate (LAB) (g/cm2/day), number of tubers (tubers), fresh weight (g), dry weight (g), tuber diameter (g) (cm), fresh weight of plants (without roots) (g). Variety treatment significantly affected truly to the number of leaves aged 30 to 50 days after planting, leaf length aged 10 to 50 days after planting, LAB 30-45 days after planting, tuber fresh weight, tuber dry weight, tuber diameter and plant fresh weight (without roots). POC application treatment has no real effect on all variables. There was no real interaction between the two treatment factors.
