Abstract

The need for high quality concrete with easy application in the field forces Civil Engineering Engineers to keep innovating. Self-Compacting Concrete is a concrete technology that has long been developed in developed countries such as Japan, Europe and the United States but in Indonesia this breakthrough is still little known. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the age of independent solid concrete testing with the proportion of 1.5% superplasticizer on 45 MPa compressive strength. Concrete mix design planning refers to the SNI Concrete Planning Regulation 03-2834-2000 and the aggregate requirement in 1 m3 of concrete is 1673 kg. In this study the slumpflow test was carried out, the dry concrete weight test and the concrete compressive strength test for concrete 3, 7, 14, 21, and 28 days old. This study used the proportion of superplasticizer which was 1.5%, dry weight test and test compressive strength. Comparison of the proportion of superplasticizers is carried out on the weight of cement. Slumpflow results are 60 cm and this is included in the SCC calculation. with the proportion of 1.5% superplastizer. The highest compressive strength test results were obtained at 28 days worth 47.13 MPa. With the proportion of 1.5% superplastizer. The lowest weight of dry concrete is obtained at the age of 7 days which is only obtained 2334.60 kg / m ^ 3.
