Abstract
This study aims to find empirical evidence of the influence of asset structure, liquidity, company size, profitability, and business risk on capital structure proxied by DER (Debt to Equity Ratio). The population in this study are companies registered in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) for the period December 2016, 2017, and 2018. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling technique, and 57 samples are obtained. The analytical method used to test hypotheses is multiple linear regression. The results showed that the structure of assets, company size, and business risk did not have an influence on capital structure (DER), while liquidity and profitability had a negative effect on capital structure (DER).
