Abstract

This research aimed to find out the marketing channel patterns, marketing use, marketing margin distribution and farmer share on potato farm in Jojogan Village, Kejajar sub - district, Wonosobo Regency. This research used survey method and the sampling used random sampling formula. The data were analyzed using descriptive and quantitative analysis. Descriptive analysis was done to find out the marketing margin, farmer share and marketing efficiency. The result showed that there was of process of creating use-value in potato farm marketing in Jojogan Village which could be categorized into Place Utility and Ownership Utility. There were 5 marketing channel pattern that included channel pattern I (farmer - consumer), cahnnel pattern II (farmer - retailer - consumer), channel pattern III (farmer - collector - retailer - consumer) channel pattern IV (farmer – collector – merchant - consumer) channel pattern V (farmer – merchant – retailer – consumer). The biggest marketing margin was on the marketing channel pattern I with the total margin of IDR 11.000. The farmer share on channel pattern I was 100%, channel pattern II wa 91,6%, channel pattern III was 87,5%, channel pattern IV was 85,8%, and channel pattern V was 81,6%.
