Abstract

This study aimed to develop teaching materials of TGT Cooperative Type based on ATONG on Theme 8 Sub-theme 3 Learning Activity 3 in grade 4 of SD Negeri 2 Kotayasa and to create the characteristics of the teaching material. This study implemented Research and Development (R&D) method to produce Teaching Materials. This study employed Thiagarajan 4-D development model, which consisted of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The validity test was carried out by three competent expert validators to assess the feasibility of the developed teaching materials. Thus, the research data were obtained from the results of expert validation. The instruments selected were interviews and questionnaires. The results discovered that the developed teaching materials of TGT cooperative model based on ATONG on theme 8 sub-theme 3 learning activity 3 in grade 4 SD Negeri 2 Kotayasa was stated to be valid by the validator. The first expert validator gave 67, the second expert validator gave 56, and the third expert validator gave 51. Therefore, the average score obtained was 57.6 or on a Likert scale of 4.1 on an average of 3.4 ≤ x < 4.2 with valid criteria. It means that the developed teaching materials were generally stated to be valid by expert validators and could be utilized to teach.
