The Role of Farmers Group on the Determining Factor of Rice Farmers Income in Kertasari Village of SuradadiSub-district of Tegal. The research aims to identify the rice farmers total income in Kertasari Village and to find out the role of Tanigroup, a group of farmers, on the determining factor of rice farmers income. The method is survey. The data arecollected through interviews, observations, and documentation. A qualitative analysis is used to find out the ricefarmers income and to reveals the role of tani group on the determining factors of the rice farmers income inKertasari Village.
The research result shows that the average amount of money which the farmers receive withinone planting season is Rp. 22,605,000 while the average of their income within one planting season is Rp.14,385,599. The correlation between the role of tani group and the farmers income indicates that the tanigrouphas a role on the determining factor of the rice farmers income. Moreover, the existence of the tani group hashelped the farmers doing their farming activities.
