The development of the times provides various changes for every human being from various sides in each generation. The alpha generation are those born in the 2010-2025 range. They are a generation that cannot be separated from technology. The technology they know from birth has a positive impact but also has a lot of negative effects. Parents as first educators play an important role in the process of guidance and care for children. Islamic parenting as the main pillar of Islamic character development in children of the alpha Islamic generation is an alternative that can be used by parents to educate and nurture their children in an Islamic way in the midst of technological developments.
The purpose of this study is to find out how to educate alpha generation children to form character through Islamic parenting. This research is a type of library research which is part of qualitative research. The technique used in collecting data is documentation. This study shows that Islamic parenting views the process of children's education starting from choosing a good partner. In the process of raising children, especially the alpha generation, it is absolutely necessary for parents to have a strong foundation of education and knowledge both in general and in religion. Parents in Muslim families instill the basics of religion from an early age so that children have strong guidelines and fortresses so that they are not easily trapped in forbidden things. In addition, in the digital era, parents play a role in educating and disciplining children's activities related to technology. The strategy that can be done by parents in educating the alpha generation, especially in building Islamic character through Islamic parenting is to instill religious values from an early age, create collaborative families, provide boundaries and rules in the use of technology, involve children in problem solving, and instill character. according to the developmental age of the child.
