In this modern era the increasing number of photo editing features provided can be misused by certain elements for the purpose of committing criminal acts, many criminal acts such as pornography, fraud, gambling and even crime of terrorism. This study uses scenarios for image conditions, including image metadata. Data for each experiment will be retrieved using methods that adjust to condition of the device. Data is taken and analyzed using JPEGSnoop, Forescally and PhotoME after that further analysis is done to prove the data can be used in the disclosure of a case. After the data can be proven the proceed with a comparative analysis of image data related to author, file type, file size in the metadata. This stydy aims to analyze the handling of cases of falsification of image identity by eliciting metadata of evidence that occurred. The research conducted can be useful to add insight into the technique of disclosing image evidence in cases of falsification of image identity.
