This study aims to analyze the effect of financial literacy, social environment and lifestyle on financial planning of employees at the University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. This research uses quantitative research methods, non-probability sampling techniques, obtained through purposive sampling based on certain criteria. The research sample of 250 respondents. The study population was permanent employees at the University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. The research methods used in this study are the validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple regression analysis, coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing. The analysis showed that partially financial literacy, social environment and lifestyle had a significant positive effect on financial planning. Furthermore, the results of the analysis simultaneously show financial literacy, social environment and lifestyle have a significant positive effect on financial planning.
