This study aims to examine the effect of the ratio of capital, assets,
management, earnings and liquidity (CAMEL) to financial distress in banking
companies listed on the IDX. The CAMEL ratio consists of CAR (Capital
Adequency Ratio), NPL (Non Performing Loan), NIM (Net Interest Margin),
BOPO (Operational Costs to Operating Income), LDR (Loan to Deposit Ratio)
and ROA (Return On Asset). The population in this study are banks listed on the
Indonesia Stock Exchange. This sampling method is purposive sampling, so that
the research sample obtained is 32 banking company data. This study uses
Logistic Regression Analysis to test the effect of the independent and dependent
variables. The results of this study indicate that the variable Non-Performing
Loan (NPL) and Income Operational Costs Operational (IOCO) have no
significant effect on Financial Distress while Capital Adequancy Ratio (CAR), Net
Interest Margin (NIM) Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) and Return On Assets (ROA)
has a significant effect on Financial Distress.
