This study aimed to determine the economic level of welfare of the
society around Bima Cement Factory of PT. Sinar Tambang Arthalestari at
Tipar Kidul Village-Ajibarang sub-district of Banyumas regency. This research
method is a survey. The population in this study was the people who live around
the factory, namely RW I as many as 397 families. The sampling technique in
this study was total purposive sampling by certain considerations when
selecting the sampling. It obtained 38 family heads as the sampling.
Questionnaires was used as the data collection technique. Qualitative and
quantitative descriptive were used as the data analysis technique. From the
results of the study, it can be concluded that level of economic welfare of
society living around Bima Cement Factory belonged to the second level of
Prosperous society.
