Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of job characteristics, self- efficiency, and service leadership on employee job satisfaction. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents who are permanent employees at PT. Kereta Api Indonesia DAOP V Purwokerto. The analysis tool used multiple regression analysis. The sampling technique used was random sampling approach. The results showed that the variable job characteristics and service leadership have an effect on employee job satisfaction, while the self-efficiency variable has no effect on employee job satisfaction. Therefore, the leader of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia DAOP V Purwokerto should pay attention to the variables of job characteristics and service leadership because it has an influence on employee job satisfaction, and increases the self-efficiency variable because it does not affect employee job satisfaction.
